Cataclysm: Race and Class Mergers

The new expansion is coming soon for WoW, and that means tons of new changes and additions! New content is always great for the game.

There will be many changes that come to the game, depending on your style of play; some will be good, some will be bad. But as we discussed before on many blog posts all you have to do is adapt and adjust. Pay attention to the new changes that will be hitting and you will have no problem conquering new content.

Everyone is covering some of the major content changes that are coming with WoW Cataclysm, but there’s something that we think is a little under the radar.

They are merging some of the classes and races together and this is the results so far:

Horde Additions:
Orc Mage
Undead Hunter
Tauren Paladin
Tauren Priest
Troll Druid
Blood Elf Warrior

Alliance Additions:
Human Hunter
Dwarf Mage
Dwarf Shaman
Night Elf Mage
Gnome Priest

This is going to add some very interesting additions to the game that will be GREAT for PvE. Alternatively it will be very scary for some PvP match ups.

A Tauren Pally with an additional stun. Hunters with Will of the Forsaken, and Every Man For Himself. Mages that have Invisibility and Shadow Meld.

While these changes aren’t “game breakers” they are definitely going to make some ripples into the water and change the way battles go inside of PvP.
