well micheal it realy depends on other addons you have ive had things like onebag and titan pannel interfeer with auctioneer. or u might just need to get a different version of auctioneer.

hi, im having some trouble with my auctioneer addon, right after i scan the auction house the game starts lagging and eventually freezes, how do i fix this? i’ve re-installed it already about 3 times, but it still keeps having the sme problem..

hi, um i have a question about playing the auction house, when im on the search auctions tab of acutioneer, what am i supposed to be looking for? like, should i buy the items that dont stack up like books and recipes, or should i look for stackable items like mats and stuff? and another question,when i see deals on the search auctons tab like a full stack of rugged leather, i buy it out, but then i do a manual search for it and then there are lots more undercut that weren’t on the search auctions tab, should i buy all of the auctions of rugged leather that were under market value? what should i do? im new, and im really confused. please respond!

Hi there, Just wondered if anyone could help me out. Im new to all this AH stuff but iv tried it over the last day or two and made a 100-200g profit which isnt bad for my first days but should i be buying out the small profit items and many of them? e.g. atm i wont buy anything unless im going to make 10g profit out of it? Should i be buying lot and lots of 2-3g profits to make an overall profit aswell or? Please someone get back to me if they can. Thanks

Yeah, the AH is by far your greatest gold making ally. For me, Im a 375 enchanter, and 375 tailor, and I use this to my advantage with the AH. Luckily for me, Im working with whats in demand now and will most likely will always be until WotLK comes out. My biggest gold makers this weekend were Large Prismatic Shards 30g each. Greater Eternal Essences 22g each, and Runic Spellthread 500g each.

The shards I get from spending 35g per void crystal and shatter it into 2 large prismatics. thats a 25g profit.

The greater eternals I search lvl 50-60 weapons and enchantrix tells me how much essence to expect on DE. buy the weapon for 10g and I DE it into 2-3 greater eternals. thats 50g profit.

And with the Runic Spellthread Primal manas were only 17-20g and the nether was 100g. I sold 2 of them and those are 200-250g profit.

Easy money if you watch the market and know how to use it, not just when to buy low.

Good job Derek on the guide

I have some suggestions for your 2.0 guide.

Go over more the addon’s explaining how to customize it all, how to set em all up, show more pictures of the setup options and explain things.

Auctioneer got updated to Auctioneer ADVANCED, and has a few different features.

Same with the informant addon, explain how to set it up so it displays the helpful information, and how to read the displayed information.

This is a great tool as after farming it tells you what its worth to vendor, AH, and sugests what to do with it.

Some of the best ways of gold making on the AH’s I have seen is

Dominate a market.

Example

I would go in when wool cloth is cheap and buy it all out. then double the price. (ex: bought at 25s EACH sold for 50s each)

All you gotta do is be online when the sellers are selling and buy it ALL.

Be the only SELLER selling it when the buys come online.

Anyone who posts wool for cheaper than mine I would buy it out right away. (as long as it was a reasonable price)

Just make sure you are the ONLY seller for it when the buyers are buying. They are FORCED to pay your mark up.

Then when lots of people post wool cloth the next day at just under your price you send all your stock piled wool to a different character, lower the price to JUST under the competitors price (still over the price of what you paid for it)

I have made over 400g in 2 days alone from controlling the wool market.

Now I am testing out Thick Leather, Silk Cloth, and some enchanting mats with the same idea

Hey Derek, interesting subject dough, i hardly believe that any stuff pre tbc is worth putting on AH, sure they won’t sell immediately maybe over ALOT of time, for leveling Enchanters and perhaps twinks. go go blizzard no fee for putting enchantings materials on AH.

So I set up this macro “/auctioneer broker 1000″. I press it and in my chat window I will see all sorts of items. Now what do I do? Do I have to manually search the AH for those items, or are they suppose to appear then the auction window?

thanks for a great website… took 10g and turned it to 350g in 2 weeks, playing about 1 hour / week. sounds like one of them ‘get rich schemes’ .
