I have been terribly busy here over the last few months.
But that is no excuse. I have totally neglected this blog, and what direction I wanted to take it.
So starting this week I am going to get back to delivering some great articles here for you you guys.
Just like before I want to answer your questions. So feedback in comments is much appreciated. I take the time to read each comment so your questions can get answered in there!
To answer a question I know is coming up, I will be covering any aspect of the game.
This blog was created for you guys, to improve your skills in gaming.. so that’s what we need to get back to.
I got a lot of cool free stuff planned for this website, so make sure you keep an eye on it. A lot of stuff is coming very very soon.

Would be cool if you shared some secrets of how to farm a little gold pretty fast, it can be a small one, not one of those big secrets of how to farm like 500g/hour. Thanks for the info

Would like to see some kind of list of what you think is the best pre-kara pve gear for the different classes (or only mage if you want
). That’s been my quarrel, trying to figure out what gear I should be farming for to even be qualified as “Kara-ready”. Or if a list of gear is too time-consuming, then how about just what stats/abilities are most important for each class to be a successful group/raid player.

Hey Derek I’d like to see some in depth coverage on the Sunwell Dailies that came out with the last patch. I’ve been doing a bunch of them but it just seems to me that I’ve been running aroundin circles. I know there’s a more efficient way to get them all done and farm the rep I need, just haven’t figured it out yet.
I’ve got other ideas but there’s plenty of time for those later.

I want to hear information on why when something is looted in an instance, immediately people can look at it and say , “Oh, that goes to the rogue of the group, or that goes to the priest, etc. ” How do they know just by looking at something who it goes to?
Also, how do you really end up learning to play “right” if you never did any instances until you go to 70? That is my problem. I ran around with one particular friend who played and we always grouped, did our own things our own way, neither really knew anything at all but somehow we each ended up at 70 ! Now, we want to do something like kara or some of those instances and we have tried to find people to go through them with but no one ever stays in the groups and neither of us is in a guild because we both tried that several times and never found one with a group who would do things together. The good guilds all want you to apply for it and of course have gear, etc and we don’t have any of that. So, how can you be a LONE player out there and actually learn how the people expect you to play if you don’t do instances and are not in a guild ?

I would also like to see a Sunwell Dailies guide. Too many dailies and I am not sure if I am doing them in the right order or if a more efficient way exists to maximize gold and rep.

hey there derek i just need some help like how to make 200g/hour like how to make 200g per a hour i really need help with that gold farming stuff would be great for some hints and tips… also i got a new mage i hit 70 and i did pve for a long time and i got no pvp skills on him know any good pvp skills for me? like im frost at the moment i need help getting pvp skills for frost, Also for PoMpyro i belive that is what its called. hints and tips for frost pvp and PoM pyro pvp would be great and that gold farming too that is all i need hit me up thanks

Hey Derek nice to have you back! Would just like to know where I, a beast master hunter, should try to get geared up for kara, whether it be PvP or Arena or other places. I just would want decent gear that I could get in about 2 months, 1 month would be better, playing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday about 4 hours a day. Please email me,would really help.

I’ve been an Admirer of your work, I’ve already gotten 2 level 70’s from the guide but though it has proven effective it’s also been kind of painful to get past. There are a few mistakes I’ve noticed for one thing a few of the “hearth” locations are miss set. it could say hearth back to Iron forge and never have even said to stop by the INN when you happened to be there. Also everything past hellfire is gone until blades edge, I would like you to add zangermarsh and Terrokar forest to this guide please ~_~

your guide could use a lot of fixes >_> besides that, i loved it, got 4-5 levels from it 63-67(68?) and helped me get get rest of the way to 70 and also with leveling my alts off and on when i go on them lol. what would be REALLY nice would be a profession leveling guide.

You are amazing with what you do for al of us gamers. I would like to see more ways to build up enough money to get a flying mount and be able to manage to have fun in battlegrounds, dungeons, and keeping up the professions all while trying to maintain enough money for the training for flying

Thanks for the leveling guides and the bonuses I got. they work great. I got my first level 70 2 days ago. was so painless except for that little bug which I hope you come out with a fix soon.
Your gold/farming guide is great I’m making 400g to 700g a day on avg on ah only and thats cause I’m lazy. And making about 150g an hour when I farm so I’m happy with that

I love the leveling guide and the gold guide – they have both been worth every penny! I am leveling faster than ever and I easily earned the money needed for epic mount training. Your tips are so valueable and your guide works great for me!

The biggest problem I have with your lvling guide is when you get to lvl 12 you say … make your way to …. i.e. the barrens. But you give no explination on how a person is supposed to do this… or where to go etc.
Some clerification would be nice

Welcome back, Derek. Just wanted to say thanks for both the gold and leveling guide. When I got the leveling guide, I made a hunter and have gotten him to lvl 40. Thats a big thing for me, considering I get just a couple hours of playtime. Im also stopping every now and then to sell on the AH, upgrade weapons from time to time, and taking breaks from leveling to assist guildies with their quests. I, too, have experienced broken hearth routes once or twice. However, I would not have made it this far this fast had it not been for the guide leading me in the general direction I should be pointing. I thank you for making something so easy to use. Now, if I could just get that gold mastery the way you do it… I am making more than I used to, but still not getting the results you get. An improvement is still an improvement.

I was wondering, if anybody can get to lvl 70 in under a week, doesn’t that mean there will be a whole lot of (no offense to anybody here)noob 70s running around calling themselves pros and owning other less fortunate noobs? Just wondering cause it could give 70s a bad name, because I’ve seen many noob 70s ad I’m lvl 55 with my main

IN your gold guide u say:
The only problem with Micro grinding is that since you are killing mobs so quickly, you may have to wait for re-spawns. This will quickly kill the amount of gold you can pull in an hour. To fix this you will want to find bugged spots (I list two of them in this guide), where the mobs keep spawning quickly.

Hey Derek. I bought your guide and although most of it is just tips and common sense I just wanted to say that it was very useful. I never even heard about addons until I bought your guide and was like O,O “so much better!” Your tip on gold farming has proven to be very useful to me as well, in fact I just made a 100 g yesterday and I’m only lvl 41 ^,^. Your guide has really helped me to understand the AH a lot better to. I now know what to look for and when to post things. I can’t wait till I get to a higher lvl and put more use into that guide!

Love the guide! I tried to migrate the addon files to my laptop, but when I logged in to my toon the guide reset itself and I had to do some scrolling t find where I left off – Is there other files outside of the addon folder that need to be migrated as well?

Hey Derek. Welcome back. I want to thank you for all the info in the guide But I noticed that it is not complete. The section on leatherworking was not there or missing. All the guides out there I have seen the leatherworking seems to be omitted from the guides. I am not talking about a general guide but in indepth guide like the ones you have for all the other professions. ust wondering if you are going to create one??Thanks for the guides thus far.

Hey Derek… I haven’t bought your guide, only cause I can’t afford it. But I do receive your emails and even signed up for Twitter!
I’m what you call a casual gamer (two hours or so on Mon and Tues) and have yet to make it to 70 (currently 45).
What I would be looking for is hints and tip on different aspects of the game from kaing gold, to dailies (I dont know what thos are yet), all the way to advice on how a casual gamer can get the most out of the game.
Yea, I know it’s a lot, most of it is probably covered in your guide, huh? Hah! Maybe your could have a tip of the day or tip of the week, with maybe a monthly article on various aspects of the game.

When will we get a status update on the progress of the bug fixes for dereks leveling guide. It is a GREAT guide, but does have some issues at higher level. cannot use until the promised fix is released, so just looking for a status report or something.
