Constant Content Craze
Well, everyone has heard about WotLK expansion, and all the new zany content. But let’s be honest folks, most of the players will skip out on half the content to zip through 80. So it seems that a lot of hard work may go unnoticed. But never fear, that’s why we here at Warcraft Legion have a gargantuan imagination! I propose in this article a few ideas that may help make certain aspects of the game fun.
Let’s take for example Arena. Everyone loves Arena! Crazed out epics, quality teamwork, and reading those funny team names at the end of the match. Wouldn’t it be even more entertaining to add a “Spectator” option? In essence, going in with a group of 10 in a 5vs5 match, but only 5 battle and the other 5 are in the stands watching your foes fall by your feet, cheering you on. Or maybe add an event that those 5 in the spectator would race to a certain obstacle, accomplish that goal, and give some sort of buff to those fighting, after defeating the other 5 spectators. Taking it even further, some sort of memorization games, like one of the dailies in Og’rila. Or pushing some sort of lever or button when the enemy stands in a certain place and fall to their death. The ideas could infinite! But enough about Arena: How about dancing?
You always see players dancing in town, while you’re out doing quests, or even if they’re just AFK. Now imagine some sort of dome structure, with lights in the middle shining upon a wooden stage. Some sort of crazy music plays, and you start dancing. Now the same old dances everyone comes with wouldn’t do. You would have to be transformed into something out of the ordinary, while dancing to the music, and stepping forward and strafing from side to side. Making it even crazier, would be the option to press certain keys to complete the dance move and glance at the audience while they cheer you on! After achieving a certain score, you may get points for the competition and buy some gear to make your character look hideous, funny, scary…you choose!
One last idea I would like to mention would have to be personal homes. Picture yourself, a proud homeowner in WoW. Adding some sort of architecture profession in the game, crafting homes with certain reagents and a forge, then selling it on the AH. Build your home next to town if you wish, or next to an instance in which you would like to camp. You would be able to name your home, design exterior, colors, etc. Of course, you would have to pay a certain fee every month. Adding paintings on the wall, choosing the style of your furniture, or adding a Guild Hall, to where all the guildies hang out, and store their stuff. This game would be much more amazing with this option. Yes, it would take a lot of server space, time, and money to make this available. But it would definitely make this game more interesting.
Do you have luminous ideas to make WoW a memorable game? Feel free to share some insight on what you would like to be added, or what you want to see 3 patches from now!

I estimate that if they did bring in houses the guild bank would have no use as everything would be stored in an attic/basement also what price would you pay perhaps instead of real money perhaps in game currency like a housing NPC called Crazy Gnome Salesman or Crazy Tauren Salesman where you can buy a house for say where you can not just store stuff etc but also sleep to heal mana/health or get rid of resurrection sickness/disease/poison.
Also the Arena Spectator Race Idea would be hilarious there you see a gnome standing there casting a spell like polymorph perhaps and then all you see is a speech bubble with he he he on it and then ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the ideas are endless.
The stage idea that would be great for outside That sells Different Morph Items or perhaps one where you can pay perhaps 5gold and become An ingame boss it would be hilarious.

Although I love every other idea you proposed I have to say from personal experience playing SWG before WOW, player housing would detract. The biggest problem I saw in SWG was land hording and squatting on “prime” real estate. If you didn’t grab an area within the first few days of implementation then the only land available for player/guild housing was out in the middle of nowhere, which took forever to travel to. SWG fixed that by allowing guilds to create cities with FP’s which helped but even then you ended up having player built “clutter” everywhere. It took away from the experience.

Well, I have played game modes where building is the main emphasis of the game. If it is done right it can add much to any sense of community in the game.
However, I say it should not ne limited to building a house, why not a settlement, what about starting and building a business, which you could expand to other areas and cities.
In short, there is much that can be done. Anything like this would expand the game in some interesting ways. For instance, why should the game be limited to only combat quests. Why can there not be other types of quests and missions.
Think about it, how many times can you want or desire to fight everything you encounter. If the game added such modes, you would be talking about adding players who might never have played. Yes this is about a sense of adventure, but that can come in many flavors.
I think it would be enjoyable to build not just destroy. It would be intersting to see what players could do with projects of different types.
By example, what if there was a need for a dam on a river, or a need to build a new settlement of somekind in a remote area. It would be neet I think to be able to play and implement such things.
Bottom line here is, expanding the game in such ways would really make it a World, not just a blood and guts knock down on the way to level 70. It is something to think about. Maybe ole Bliz will see where it could lead. To a bigger and even more complete game scenario.

I love your idea about spectators for the arenas. I’ve always wondered how hard they would be and why do you need such great gear to play them, but after being in one I now understand. If you can spectate these things at lower levels, also heroic instances, it would give you an idea of how to play them and what gear you need. I personally would like to see practice arenas limited to ungeared people. It seems a waste of time trying to practice in these arenas when you get wiped by one highly geared player. How are we supposed to get the practice?
