Cataclysm: Race and Class Mergers

The new expansion is coming soon for WoW, and that means tons of new changes and additions! New content is always great for the game.

There will be many changes that come to the game, depending on your style of play; some will be good, some will be bad. But as we discussed before on many blog posts all you have to do is adapt and adjust. Pay attention to the new changes that will be hitting and you will have no problem conquering new content.

Everyone is covering some of the major content changes that are coming with WoW Cataclysm, but there’s something that we think is a little under the radar.

They are merging some of the classes and races together and this is the results so far:

Horde Additions:
Orc Mage
Undead Hunter
Tauren Paladin
Tauren Priest
Troll Druid
Blood Elf Warrior

Alliance Additions:
Human Hunter
Dwarf Mage
Dwarf Shaman
Night Elf Mage
Gnome Priest

This is going to add some very interesting additions to the game that will be GREAT for PvE. Alternatively it will be very scary for some PvP match ups.

A Tauren Pally with an additional stun. Hunters with Will of the Forsaken, and Every Man For Himself. Mages that have Invisibility and Shadow Meld.

While these changes aren’t “game breakers” they are definitely going to make some ripples into the water and change the way battles go inside of PvP.

Large Update To Our Guides

We have a very large update to our guide sections here.

After long hours of development we have launched brand new sections to WarcraftLegion.com. The incredible staff here produced some awesome Class Guides, and Profession Guides 1-450 Leveling.

The class guides cover each class from head to toe, giving you the weakness and strengths of the class, how to play them, and sample leveling specs that you can use. We even cover the important stats that are crucial for your character and how they benefit your class. This way you can balance your character optimally and stack the right stats to perform the best. This way every gem, enchant, or glyph that you purchase is a perfect piece to the puzzle.

The Profession Leveling Guides speak for themselves – now you can level any profession you want in the quickest routes possible. They are detailed enough to show you each and every item that you will need to create in order to reach 450…FAST!

If that isn’t enough, each step is linked to great resources (such as WoWhead.com) so you can quickly find your trainers, recipes, or materials needed for the step you are working on. We have done this for every profession, including secondary professions such as cooking, first aid, and fishing! This makes it incredibly easy for you to level any profession from 1-450. Now gogo get out there and level!

These guides are part of an on-going discussion. Just like usual at the bottom of each post you will see a comment box, and we want your feedback on each of these guides. How did they work for you? FAQ – About Gold Without The Grind

I wanted to take sometime to answer some good questions we have been receiving about our new product “Gold Without The Grind”. I noticed we kept you in the dark about a few area’s – and the confusion on the first day did not help!

Why Did We Develop “Gold Without The Grind”

With the growing need for gold, and as prices inside the game continued to jump and blizzard taking away one of the biggest “crutches” to gold farming (high level cloth farming has gotten increasingly more difficult), I decided to develop something that was clear, step driven, and easy to use. Something fundamental that could get players making gold.

Most of the people who purchased Warcraft Riches (my original gold guide), or any other guide that resembled it – what you got was an ENTIRE collection of gold farming strategies. While this is great – it’s not ideal.

Most players suffered from Information Overload, this caused NO ACTION, which is exactly opposite of what we wanted! Instead of giving you just a large compilation of places to farm, or a collection of auction house strategies, I wanted to develop something simple that was guaranteed to work for any player, any level, any server. This was not easy.

How It Was Developed

I started with one of my main character and brainstormed a few ideas that could be used by any player, any level, any server. With hours of research, brainstorming, and practice, we finally had a “rough draft” idea for the system.

As soon as I could get all my thoughts down on paper (including the formula’s and the math behind it) I gave it out to a SMALL few players who would test it out. Meanwhile, I did my own testing, on multiple servers, multiple characters, and multiple levels.

The Results

The results were not the same. However out of the testing group, there wasn’t one failure. Every account grew their gold, and once the system was in place these players were confident they could make gold whenever they wanted to. I was fully confident that I was on to something that players could use to finally overcome their gold frustrations.

What Is The System?

The system leverages a lot of math, and the Law of Averages. (It’s all explained very clearly – so don’t worry if you hate math, you don’t need to understand it to use this guide..all you have to do is follow the simple steps). This is really cool because you practically know your PROFITS ahead of time, so there is relatively no risk involved.

Basically what we are doing is using some simple math to create gold into your account. You will be using the Auction House and a Crafting Profession (any of them will do – but we reveal our favorite profession inside the guide). It’s a form of Arbitrage that will basically “create” gold for your characters.

Seriously, Just a few clicks?

There are a FEW things that you will have to do to basically “prep” this system. Think of a lawn mower. In order to quickly cut the gas, you have to make sure it’s oiled, and it has gasoline. Once you have these components you are set and ready to run. So the first few parts will take a small bit of work.

Unlike a lawn mower though – you only have to them once! Once you get this system set up, it gets easier and easier, and quicker. So with a very short amount of time, it will come down to jsut a FEW clicks of the button to make 5g here, 10g there, sometimes 20g – 50g – 75g. (Personally I’ve only made a burst of 125g – however some of our testers made up to 271g 13s and 96c with just a few clicks)

Is This Guide For Everyone?

No! If you already have a satisfactory amount of gold, then don’t even bother. Or if you don’t want to take a few steps, and understand a powerful system to make gold – then this is not for you. Unfortunately we haven’t found a way to just make gold magically appear in your account. (Trust me.. If I did I would let you know about it A.S.A.P) But this is – LITERALLY – the quickest way to get gold flowing into your account, when you want it.

This guide is not a compilation of grinding spots – heck there isn’t one grinding spot in here (Hence the name of the guide). The guide was created to be as fully automated as possible – and that’s exactly what it’s going to do. So if you like to grind mindlessly for low results, this isn’t the guide for you.

Why Don’t You Just Give It Away For Free?

This is a great question. We are not going to release this strategy for free for a few reasons. #1) We have spent a lot of time thinking, developing, planning, brainstorming, and actually writing this strategy. If it was something I could tell you in a simple blog post – then yes I’d be happy to give it away for free!

#2) The more people that get their hands on this, the less effective it will be come. Think about it, if everyone was doing it – do you think there would be much profit for you? So be happy that there is a price tag on it – so it will protect the strategy, it will insure your profits, and keep the strategy from the hands of the masses. (This also means that if you DON’T use this strategy, someone on your server might get their hands on it..)

How To Play A Death Knight Guide

Since most players find themselves with a Death Knight on their account, we decided to take some time and develop some sound strategy for taking your Death Knight to the next level.

A lot of players feel that the Death Knight class is eliminating the need for some of their character roles. Others feel that it’s only created a higher need for healers. On the other hand we still have players who think the game is fully balanced and they feel the Death Knight class has only enhanced the game!

We discussed it before WoTLK came out, what do you think now? It’s been months since the new content has hit the servers, how do you think the Death Knight class has added to the game (or what has it stolen away?)

Instead of taking hours to develop a a written strategy, we thought it would be much easier to sum it up in an image. After all, pictures are worth a thousand words right?

The Lexicon of Power

The lexicon of power is used for putting glyphs into your character.

You can find the lexicon of power in nearly every main city by the inscription trainer. There is no inscription trainer in Shattrath City.

If you can’t find your local inscription trainer you can ask a guard and it will send you to the trainer. There is a lexicon of power by every inscription trainer in the main cities. Once you are at the lexicon of power, you can attach your glyph to your character’s glyph sheet.

Hey Guys.. I was wondering what you guys meant by the 404 error!

I fixed it.. when I put the bonus guides onto my web server I named the file slightly wrong and thats what was giving the 404 error. I’ve tested the server about 6 different times on different computers and everything seems to be running smoothly!

Sorry for the error there for a bit. It’s all fixed so you can proceed in downloading the bonus guides!

The New Level Of Your AH Character

I’m making this post from St. Louis!

I visited here for a LAN party with some friends and I’m having a great time.

The markets are changing, and the more people who find out about the auctioneer addon the more competition gets stiff. This is a problem that people have noticed. But it’s not like we still can’t make money.

Making gold in WoW easily is not over. It’s just different.

How many of you still play on level 1 auction house characters?

My auction house character is now level 35. I did this on all of my servers because disenchanting has become a huge part of my strategy in the auction house.

How many of you are taking advantage of disenchanting items on the AH for profit?

This doesn’t mean drop your professions and pick up enchanting. Because you can get free disenchanting. (I will talk about this in another post coming soon).

But you should definitely take advantage of disenchanting in your every-day efforts for farming gold.

Players commonly post items on the AH below disenchant value. I’m at fault too. It would be a pain to check the Disenchant value of every item before listing it.

This just simply means more profits for us, and profits that are created out of thin air. You don’t even have to worry about competition either. Once you disenchant the item you can list it 500 times… since they are enchanting materials they will list for free.

I know there are many disenchanters out there so comment below on your stories with disenchanting to encourage other players of how profitable it is.
